Dario’s thirty-year experience in asset tracing and securing in complex financial disputes in Continental Europe, the US and the UK brings to Prudhoe Caribbean unique know-how in dealing with situations involving different legal systems. Dario has practiced in New York since 1989 and Italy since 1993. He was also admitted as an advocate of the Italian Supreme Court (the highest appellate court there) in 2001.

He was the founding Partner of Loiacono e Associati, a law firm boutique based in Milan, Italy, specialising in innovative investment and financing techniques, financial markets regulation and financial litigation.

Dario has been the legal catalyst behind the creation of new markets and financial products in Italy, such as stock lending, ETFs, prime brokerage, and the post-trading and collateral reform. Prior to founding Loiacono e Associati, Mr. Loiacono was a U.S. lawyer with the New York law firm Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton and an investment banker at J.P. Morgan & Co., where he was part of the Italian derivatives structuring team.

It was in US-facing engagements that Dario first worked with Tim Prudhoe.
